Order Tracking
Learn how to track orders, view production status, and share tracking information with your customers.
Order Status Overview
Every order goes through these statuses:
Received
Order has been imported from your store and is queued for production.
In Production
Your product is being printed, engraved, or manufactured.
Quality Check
Product is being inspected before packaging.
Shipped
Order is on its way to the customer with tracking information available.
Delivered
Package has been delivered to the customer's address.
Viewing Order Status
You can check order status in multiple places:
- Completeful Dashboard: Go to Orders to see real-time status
- Your Store: Order status syncs back automatically
- Email Notifications: You'll receive updates at key milestones
Tracking Numbers
Once an order ships, you'll receive:
- Email notification with tracking number and carrier
- Tracking link that shows real-time delivery progress
- Automatic tracking sync to your store's order page
Sharing Tracking with Customers:
Most integrations automatically send tracking to your customer when available. You can also manually share the tracking link from your store's order management page.
Estimated Delivery Dates
Tracking systems provide estimated delivery dates, but these can change due to:
- Weather delays
- Carrier capacity issues
- Remote or rural delivery locations
- Customs processing (for international orders)
Most domestic orders arrive within 5-12 business days from order placement. See our Shipping Policy for more details.
Tracking Issues
If tracking shows no movement for several days or says "delivered" but the customer didn't receive the package:
- Wait 24-48 hours - tracking sometimes updates with a delay
- Check for delivery to a neighbor or alternate location
- Verify the shipping address was correct
- Contact support - we'll investigate with the carrier and send a replacement if needed
